E-commerce website design and build for Katie Mawson Textiles - designers and makers of special knitted, felted accessories.
Katie Mawson lives and works in the Lake District and was first referred to me by a client back in 2013 and we immediately set to work designing and building a new product-focussed website for Katie, who did have an e-commerce site but it had no end of security issues and, as a shop window, it did not reflect her craft or style and did not properly present her products.
Of the project and collaboration to design and build a new online shop in 2013, Katie said,
"We are extremely pleased with our new website. Susan was very pleasant and professional to work with, always ready to discuss any ideas and issues, quick to respond to queries and efficient at all levels. Susan understood immediately the aesthetic of what we wanted and has a very keen eye for both image detail and text. We worked entirely over Skype as I am based so far away - this worked very well and was never an issue. We have had our new site up and running for six months now and our turnover is two and half times that of the same six months last year."
Fast forward to 2020 and we have just revisited the site and given it a thorough review and fresh new look. On an ongoing basis Prussian Blue provides design support and manages email campaigns to Katie Mawson’s retail and trade customers.
